Busy Sunday

For the first time since Brooke was born we made it as a family through ALL of church! It was long, there were many bottles drank, sippie cups emptied, cereal crunched and munched, and a whole bunch of bouncing, rocking, and swaying... BUT we made it!

After all of that work I crashed for a nap when we came home. Mike took some pictures of Brooke smiling while I was snoring not too far away.


After nap time it was off to Justin & Heather's house for some birthday cupcakes for their little girl who just turned 1. The food was not only really tasty, but very well constructed and decorated. Her name is Ali, so she had an "Ali"gator cake! Brilliant!

Eryn spent most of the time running around with Colton. Feed a 2 yr old and a 3 yr old cake and ice cream and just let 'em go! It was really fun to watch how crazy they were. Then, Eryn decided that peel off her clothes down to a diaper and run around screaming. Not so cute!

In her defense, she had to go to the potty and was trying to tell me. I missed that as a hint and she missed the potty as a result. After being changed and talking about when you need to go potty you TELL Mommy, "I need to go," she did it again.

Yep, just in a diaper again. This time she wanted to change into pjs and go to bed. On that note, we decided that it was time to head out and end our busy Sunday.

Mom, I'm Ready!

Brooke finally gave in and looked at me with the pair of big blue eyes and said, "Mom, I'm ready for my close ups now!" She had to be recently fed, burped, changed, and being held by grandma to get these pictures, but it all worked! She was happy and wide eyed even with the camera out.

Adventures in Eryn Land!

Since there's been a lot about weddings and babies lately, Eryn has been a little neglected on the blog soap box of Mommy bragging. So, here's a bunch of Eryn!

On Pioneer Day we all went to Enterprise and Eryn hung out with her friend Colton! They wanted to see what it was like to work where their Dads work. Except their Dads don't usually climb on the counter and smile that big. Well, not usually...

Recently (about 2 minutes ago) Eryn discovered that flashlights are NOT BOTH TUB TOYS! I guess that there are worse things she could have tried playing with. I am just glad that she slipped on the wet floor in the bathroom and threw the flashlight into the water before she could pick herself up and get back in! Oh being a Mom is never dull... NEVER!

Brooke's Blessing

Brooke's blessing was last week! Yeah, I'm a week behind in my blogging... Anyhow, here are a few pictures from her blessing day. It went really well. I heard (from someone who peeked during the prayer) that she was wide eyed and looking around at everyone in the circle!

After we came home we had taco salad and cake from Costco! Any excuse for a Costco cake works for me. This time it was a triple excuse, lots of family to feed, Brooke's blessing, and the 3 July birthdays from our family.

Part 3- The Reception

The reception was a lot of us all just sort of hanging out, having some cake, and watching a few of our family members go crazy on the dance floor!

Mike Mom was in Heaven with the 3 new grand babies! Brooke was happy just to take off her bow and hang out with Grandma.

Part 2 of Ryan's Wedding

The lunch-in went very well. The food was good and the air conditioning was sure enjoyable!

Wedding Day- Part 1

I have so many pictures to go through still that I decided to break up our long weekend just to get something put on here so show my faithful blog followers!

Mike's brother Ryan was married on Saturday in the Draper Temple. It was a very nice ceremony that Suzie's grandfather administered. This post is just some of the pictures from that day. These are my favorite pictures from our time at the temple.

We decided to let the couple know what it would be like to have 4 babies at 1 time! They were just a little bit horrified!

Like I said before there are more pictures to come. We had a lunch-in and a reception later that day. Then, the next day Sunday the 26th we blessed Brooke. Lots still to do and with everything else that I have to take care of blogging and pictures have had to take a back burner.
