Brooke's 4 Months
Brooke smiled for the doctor and suffered through her shots well. She didn't like the liquid vaccine much and spit a good amount of it out. Oh well! She managed to hit the 29th percentile for weight and the 33rd percentile for height! Still a little small, but growing right on with her curve and healthy. The doctor was impressed with her head control and her BIG blue eyes. Over all, a great check up for our tiny princess!
Now, the fun part of the story... Eryn went to this appointment also. She did a very good job being nice to the other kids in the waiting room and NOT touching them. She managed to tell me about 20 times that Toy Story was on the tv, at least 5 times that she found Nemo in the fish tank, and applied lip gloss nearly the entire time we were there!
Eryn was just a little freaked out when she saw the feared shot nurse who was wearing a Halloween top with a Jack-o-Lantern on it. "Bad lady... Scary shirt... Not cute..." The poor woman must have the toughest skin in the world because she told Eryn that she was cute and gave her a sticker.

When Life Gives You Lemons... BLOG
That was the good part, now on with the complaining! Prepare yourselves...
I'm miserable. My migraines are out of control right now and my back hurts. Eryn's having fun refusing to eat or drink anything besides chocolate milk. Brooke thinks it's funny to cry for food and then not want to eat it until I'm about ready to put it away and give up. Mike's been a trooper going to work each day and trying to leave it at the door as much as possible. I know that he's stressed out though.
Our car has decided that 130,000 miles was the point at which he could retire. Jokes on Blitzen! He's just going to have to get repaired and go back to work! Sort of like the rest of us, the car is a little burned out and wants a break, but life has to keep functioning.

Cougars, Oh MY!
We also found out on Sunday that Bronco is doing a fireside with a bunch of guys from the team here at our Stake Center the night before the Utah game.

Swine Flu
Today Eryn had round one of the swine flu nasal mist. Luckily, I had the car on the 1 day this month that her doctor's office had it in and just happened to call them to figure out for sure what day Brooke's next appointment was and asked about flu shots! Luck? Nah...
The line at the health department for the adult shot was way long and with 2 little kids there was no way I was going to make it through the wait. Perhaps another day!
I spent the entire day running around from store to store, doctor's offices, and food places only to realize that I didn't barely make a dent in the things that I needed to get done! Again, perhaps another day!

Cleanin' Up
We went to the utility room and I said, "Come on bucket, mop, broom, Mommy says clean up the room!" Eryn started screaming and throwing the worst fit.
WHY? Well, in my intelligence I was sort of quoting from Sleeping Beauty where Merryweather says, "Come on bucket, mop, broom, Flora says clean up the room!" Then, the tools start dancing around and cleaning up the room all by themselves. Eryn was horrified that I had to hold them to make them work!

Moab
We'd promised Eryn some lizards, so we were really relieved when she finally found one! It was pretty cool that day and we were starting to get nervous... (He's right on the curb to the left of her shadow. Look close!)
